Hotel amenities supplier for the UK

Since the UK left the EU single market, every delivery from Poland to a British hotel crosses a customs border. We handle it as a routine: road freight via the Channel, export declaration on our side, and the choice of DAP or DDP so your team does not have to learn customs to receive robes and slippers.

What to know about UK deliveries

Customs on every shipment

We file the EU export declaration. On the UK side someone must lodge an import declaration and pay import VAT and any duty — your customs broker under DAP, or our forwarder under DDP.

Origin matters for duty

Goods that qualify as EU origin under the UK–EU Trade and Cooperation Agreement can enter with no duty, using an origin statement on the invoice. Goods made at partner factories outside the EU follow the UK tariff for their origin.

EORI and VAT

For DAP imports your business needs a GB EORI number. VAT-registered hotels can usually account for import VAT through postponed VAT accounting on their return.

UK product marking

Children’s products tested to EN71 and carrying CE marking are accepted in Great Britain; cosmetics need a UK Responsible Person and SCPN notification, which our partner labs can arrange for UK-bound amenities.

  • Check your GB EORI number if you choose DAP
  • Ask us for origin per item — EU-made or partner factory
  • Seaside resorts: brief by February for the Easter–summer season
  • Christmas and festive gifts: brief by early September
  • Northern Ireland: ask us — different rules apply to goods from the EU

Frequently asked questions

Are you a hotel supplies UK company?

We are an EU company that delivers to UK hotels. That means customs on each shipment — which we handle — and in return small minimums, our own plush workshop and EU-made textiles for many items.

Is it worth buying hotel slippers for a UK hotel from the EU?

It depends on volume and origin. The price per pair is in our quote; with DDP, duty and delivery are shown separately, so you can compare the landed cost directly with a UK distributor.

Who pays duty and VAT?

Under DAP, you (through your broker or courier). Under DDP, our forwarder pays on import and we invoice the cost. Either way it is visible in the quote.

How long does customs clearance take?

Usually one to two working days with complete documents: commercial invoice, packing list, origin statement and commodity codes, all of which we prepare.

Can you deliver to Northern Ireland?

Yes. Goods moving from the EU to Northern Ireland follow different rules from Great Britain under the Windsor Framework; we confirm the route and paperwork with your order.
