Delivering hotel supplies in Europe

Road freight from Poland

Most orders go on pallets by groupage road freight. Typical transit is 2–4 days to Germany, Austria and the Benelux and 4–7 days to Spain, Portugal, Italy, Greece and the Nordics.

VAT without import paperwork

Deliveries to a VAT-registered business in another EU country are invoiced as intra-community supplies under the reverse charge. Within Poland, Polish VAT applies.

EU product rules already covered

Children’s products tested to EN71 with CE marking, cosmetics supplied with EU documentation (CPNP notification, safety assessment) by our partner labs, textiles labelled for fibre content.

Islands and mountain resorts

The Canary Islands, Greek islands and alpine villages add ferry or mountain legs to the route. The Canaries are outside the EU VAT area and need customs documents; we plan these at quote stage.

Frequently asked questions

Do you charge VAT to hotels outside Poland?

If your company has a valid EU VAT number, we invoice without VAT under the reverse charge and you account for VAT in your country. Without a VAT number, Polish VAT is charged.

Is there any customs paperwork for EU deliveries?

No. Goods move freely within the EU. Exceptions are areas outside the EU VAT territory, such as the Canary Islands, which need export and import declarations.

Do you deliver to Switzerland and Norway?

Yes. They are outside the EU customs union, so the goods need export and import declarations and local VAT is due on import. We can ship DAP or arrange DDP through a forwarder.

Can you deliver to the hotel’s loading bay with a tail lift?

Yes, on request. Tell us about access restrictions — historic city centres and mountain roads often limit truck size.

Which languages can we use?

English, German and Polish. Quotes and invoices are in English, with German or Polish on request.
