Quality control and compliance
Hotel textiles quality is measured in wash cycles, plush is measured against EN71, and toiletries need EU cosmetic documentation before they reach a bathroom. Here is what we check, which standards apply to which products, and what documentation you receive with the goods.
Standards by product
Plush and kids club items: EN71
Children’s products are tested to EN71 (mechanical and physical properties, flammability, migration of certain elements) and carry CE marking, age warnings and batch identification. Plush is made in our own workshop in Poland.
Robes, towels, slippers: OEKO-TEX on request
Fabrics with OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certification are available on request: the certificate covers the fabric and confirms it has been tested for harmful substances. Textiles carry fibre content and care labels.
Amenities: EU cosmetics documentation
Toiletries are supplied by our partner labs with EU documentation — CPNP notification, a cosmetic product safety report and a responsible person in the EU — and labelled with ingredients and batch numbers.
General product safety
Consumer products sold in the EU must meet the General Product Safety Regulation: identification of the manufacturer or responsible person, batch traceability and warnings where needed. This applies to lobby shop items as well.
What we check before goods ship
- Colour against the approved sample and Pantone reference
- Logo position, size and stitch quality
- Fabric weight (GSM) and dimensions within tolerance
- Seams, hems and loose threads
- Slipper soles, sizes and pairing
- Plush seams, attachments and labels
- Amenity fill levels, caps and labels
- Carton counts, labels and packing list
How quality control works
Approved sample as reference
The sample you approve is kept as the master. Production is checked against it, not against a description.
Inspection during and after production
We inspect the first pieces off the line and a random sample of the finished batch, with photos for your records.
Wash test for textiles
Robes and towels are washed before approval to check shrinkage and colour fastness; we can send a washed sample on request.
Documents with the goods
Test reports and declarations relevant to your products travel with the shipment or arrive by email before it.
Clear complaint route
If something is wrong on delivery, send photos and carton labels; we review against the master sample and agree replacement or credit.

Plush is made in our own workshop in Poland; other lines at partner factories in the EU, Turkey and China whose work we inspect.
Frequently asked questions
Are your bathrobes OEKO-TEX certified?
We can supply OEKO-TEX bathrobes made from fabrics with OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certification on request. The certificate belongs to the fabric producer; we provide a copy with the order.
Is EN71 testing done for every plush order?
Every new plush design is tested to EN71 before delivery. Reorders of an unchanged design rely on the existing test report, with batch checks.
Are your amenities compliant with EU cosmetics rules?
Yes. Hotel amenities compliance is covered by our partner labs: CPNP notification, safety assessment and an EU responsible person. For markets outside the EU, local registration may be needed — see our shipping pages.
How durable are your hotel textiles?
Durability depends on GSM, yarn and laundry practice. We specify fabrics for commercial laundry and wash-test samples; we do not quote a fixed number of wash cycles because laundry chemicals and temperatures vary.
Can we send our own inspector?
Yes. You or a third-party inspection company can inspect before dispatch; tell us at order so we can schedule it.
