Shipping to African hotels and lodges
Pre-export conformity checks
Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda and several other countries run pre-export verification of conformity (PVoC) programmes: regulated goods need a certificate of conformity issued before shipping. We arrange the inspection with an appointed body as part of the order.
Origin and trade agreements
EU agreements with South Africa and the SADC group, with Egypt, Morocco and Tunisia, and with several East African countries can reduce duty for EU-origin goods with the right origin proof. We state origin per item.
Lodges off the main road
Safari camps are supplied through a city warehouse or agent — Nairobi, Arusha, Maun, Johannesburg. We deliver there and pack cartons for small aircraft or 4x4 transfers when you ask.
Documents that travel with the goods
Commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of origin and, where needed, the conformity certificate. Some countries want original documents with the shipment; we send them by courier in parallel.

Do you supply safari lodge amenities?
Yes: refillable bathroom amenities, waffle robes, quick-drying towels, cotton laundry bags and wildlife plush for the curio shop, all with the lodge name. See also our page for glamping and lodges.
Are you a hotel supplies South Africa company?
We are an EU supplier shipping to South African hotels by sea to Durban or Cape Town, or by air to Johannesburg. EU-origin goods may qualify for preferential duty under the EU–SADC agreement.
What is PVoC and do we need it?
Pre-export verification of conformity is an inspection and certification done before goods leave Europe. Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda are among the countries that require it for many product types. We check per product and country at quote stage.
Can you deliver directly to a remote camp?
We deliver to a city agent or warehouse that already supplies the camp. Cartons can be sized and labelled for light aircraft and road transfers.
Do you deliver to North Africa and the islands?
Yes — Morocco and Tunisia by road and ferry or sea, Egypt by sea or air, Mauritius and the Seychelles by air or sea.
